Mediation Philosophy: I seek to understand the parties’ expectations, enlighten them on reasonable possibilities for settlement, and then draw all sides to common ground. My 40 plus years of experience as an attorney and experience as a full time arbitrator permit me to educate the parties as to the uncertainties of litigation and the strengths and weaknesses of their respective cases. In the process, I expect the parties and their counsel to be candid when expressing their views and desires, but realistic as to the need for compromise.
